Finding your Member ID number


Question:

How do I look up my member ID number?

Answer:

08/05/12 Update:  Your member ID can now be viewed by accessing your member profile.  Step 1 - log in to www.tchc.info; Step 2:  select View Profile from the login menu in the upper right of your monitor screen; Step 3: scroll down to your member ID number right above your First Name.

Question:

What do I use for a Member Log in username ?

Answer:

Your username is your email address on record with TCHC.  If your email address has changed, you can still try your old email address to access Members Resources.  Once access is allowed, update your Member profile with a correct email address.

Question:

What if I don't have an email address to use as my username ?

Answer:

Create a "dummy" email address on your application form by entering "Yourchoice"@noemail.com . "Yourchoice" can be any alpha/numberic characters; don't use the " ". 


Question:

What if I share the same email address with my significant other ?

Answer:

A unique email address is required for each member to log in and receive email notices generated by the site.  If you don't wish to establish a new email address, a dummy log in address can be created for your login - "Yourchoice"@noemail.com . "Yourchoice" can be any alpha/numberic characters; don't use the " ".  Please contact MemberCare with your old email address and your preference for a new email address.

Question:

What do I use as my password ?

Answer:

When you first became a member, or recently renewed, a Web Access code was provided consisting of letters and numbers.  Once access is allowed, you can change your password to your choice in Member profile.  If you don't remember your Web Access code select "Forgot Password" on the log in menu.  An email with your password will be sent.

Renew Your Membership


Question:

How do I renew my membership? I received an email reminder notice.

Answer:

To renew your membership log in and select "View Profile" from the upper right corner of the screen.  To the right side of your profile screen you'll see a "Renew" menu button - select the button.  A member may select from 2 options to pay their renewal dues: first, "a manual payment"; select this option if you wish to mail in your dues check ( instructions and a mailing address are provided), or second, "credit card payment through PayPal"; select this option if you wish to pay your dues by personal credit card or through your existing PayPal account.

 
Question:

My membership lapsed or was suspended and I can't log in.  How can I renew my membership?
  Answer: If you're unable to log in and view your profile to renew please contact the Treasurer.

Question:

Do I have to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card?

Answer:

No; you can pay by credit card without a PayPal account.  On the PayPal payment screen look for the phrase "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank card (where available)Continue".  Select "Continue" on screen.

Email


Question:

I am not receiving email notices from the TCHC member site; why? 

Answer:

If you are not receiving email notices its usually because of 1) your email address is not correct in your member profile, 2) your email subscription is not enabled, or 3) your email spam/phishing service is blocking emails issued from www.tchc.info.

To correct 1) & 2) select "View Member Profile" at the log in box.  Verify your email address as listed in your profile.  Next, select "Subscriptions" at the top of the page.  Verify that the email "enabled" box is checked to receive email notices.

To correct 3) update your email service and list www.tchc.info as an Allowed Sender, or check with your email service provider.

Event & Workshop Entry


Question:

How do I list an Event or Workshop to the TCHC Community calendar?

Answer:

Only TCHC members may submit events and workshops for posting to the TCHC Community Calendar.  The member completes an entry submission form with information about the event.  The submission is reviewed for appropriate content before it becomes accessible for viewing by the public.

To submit your event or workshop-
1) Log in using your email address and password
2) Go to the "Members" menu section
3) Select Event Entry
4) Complete the questionnaire and select send.
