Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA) is an exercise program consisting of gentle movements. Originally designed for those with musculoskeletal challenges, TCA is a favorite of many as a healthy exercise activity. TCA uses slow fluid movements to increase muscular strength and protect joints. By practicing the gentle stretches and fluid motions individuals will gain a valuable tool to help relieve pain while improving strength, range of motion and flexibility. These gentle exercises are safe in a wide range of conditions and abilities and may be used along with other therapies and treatments.
Tai Chi for Diabetes (TCD) is a gentle and effective means of exercise that is easy and safe to learn. Regular practice can result in the reduction of Diabetes related complications and help stimulate the processing of blood sugar. Specific movements in this program can stimulate energy meridians to strengthen those organs at risk for Diabetic complications. Regular practice can reduce the adverse side effects of conventional treatment while enhancing the effectiveness of current treatment.
Tai Chi for Osteoporosis (TCO) is an easy to learn, safe, and effective tai chi program for people with osteoporosis. Tai chi may help people with osteoporosis to improve their muscular strength, coordination, and balance, and slow down the loss of bone density.
Tai Chi is a gentle form of movement utilizing every part of the body coordinated in natural and slow rhythm of motion. The body moving in harmony with abundance of energy. The mind alert and at peace.
